Full Membership is available to all Registered/ Enrolled Nurses practicing within the perioperative environment in Western Australia
Full Members:
Are entitled to vote on ACORN WA business
Are eligible to be nominated for roles on the ACORN WA Executive
Can attend ACORN WA study days at minimal cost
Are eligible to apply for funding for the pursuit of education and learning at a State, National or International level
Eligible for member rates at most State and National conferences
Receive the ACORN Journal quarterly
May use ACORN post nominals
Have ACORN member website access
Are eligible to apply for Fellowship of ACORN
Associate Members receive all the benefits of full membership but are ineligible to vote or apply for funding.
Members are informed about their profession and are encouraged to contribute to the Standards and Guidelines affecting their practice. Issues pertaining to the future directions in education, qualifications, credentialing, clinical developments and occupational health are discussed and influenced by this group.
